Winery In the 1960s, the renowned Franciacorta producer Ca’ del Bosco started its history when Annamaria Clementi Zanella bought a small cottage, Ca’ del Bosco, on a mountain in Erbusco, Franciacorta. After planting the first vineyard in 1967, the estate launched outstanding wines, including the first white wine in 1973 and the first red wine in 1977. Inspired by an inspiring trip through the Champagne caves, Maurizio Zanella decided, with the help of a "chef de cave," to produce premium Italian sparkling wines. Since 1976, the exceptional bubbles, including brut, dosage zero, rosé, and later crémant, belong among the best in Italy. Situated in a spectacular modern building, the wine company is surrounded by 160 hectares of vineyards.
